E. Tiessen was a notable South African manufacturing Jeweller and Silversmith round the mid 20th centuary (1950's to 1970's) known for it's silver and gold items marked ET+ hallmark and date letter. The date letter here is probably 1969. They also manufactured collectors series coins for the South African mint.
