This awesome antique (Edwardian) hallmarked "Thomas Bishton" curved sterling silver engraved calling card holder has a beautiful cartouche monogram and measures 6.7cm to 13.2cm when open x 9cm wide x 1.2cm high. The card holder weighs a stunning 66.5g. The hallmarks on the calling card holder consist of the "T.B" makers mark confirming it is a Thomas Bishton piece, The lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the anchor Assay mark confirming the card holder was made in Birmingham and the date letter "f" confirming it was made in 1905. There is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear associated with a 100+ year old silver case.
