This extremely rare antique (c1890) "William Tonks & Sons" cast brass "Penrhyn Imp" door stopper from "Penrhyn Old Hall" weighs in at a staggering 5.475kg and measures 33cm high x 11cm long x 6.5cm wide. The narrow door stopper is ideal for a front door or a door that wont stay open. The door stopper has a heavy cast metal inner and is stamped "WT&S" which is an indication of the marks used on William Tonks & Sons products of 1890. The door stopper in incredibly striking with the Gargoyle/ Imp on the front and a profile of Penryn Old Hall just below the handle. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this fabulous exceptionally rare Victorian door stopper and to confirm the condition.
