This extremely rare vintage "mid-century" German made "Kosta" steel egg timer with an hourglass is still in it original box and is in amazing condition for its age; the box does have some damage. The egg timer has normal wear and tear. The egg timer measures roughly 16cm high x 1.5cm wide and makes provision for 3, 4 and 5 minute eggs. The hourglass is inverted and as the sand completely runs to the lower bulb, the hour glass flips around and rings the bell to indicate the eggs are done. I have attached a little video to confirm how it works. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this awesome mid-century steel hourglass egg timer and to confirm the condition.
