This incredible and rare Chinese solid silver "Dragon" napkin ring with amazing hand chased detailing is a beautiful example of the similar serviette rings produced in china from around 1890 to the mid 1950's. The serviette rings (and other such silver) was sold as Chinese export silver and was silver produced predominantly for the English and European markets in the 18th & 19th centuries. Although there are no marking on the ring, it tests positive for silver in a silver chemical test. The napkin ring weighs 21.01g and is 4.2cm across x 3.cm high.
