This incredible antique Art Nouveau silver plated "tilting" teapot with Bakelite handles and beautiful ornate detailing is in wonderful condition for its age. The large six-up teapot measures 23cm long (spout to handle) x 11.5cm wide x 22.5cm high. There is minimal age and usage related wear and tear and tarnishing. The teapot is stamped "EPBM" which is electro-plate Britannia Metal which was widely used from the mid 1700's to the mid 1900's and although a more costly electro plating process than EPNS, it is more durable. EPBM is seldom used nowadays, however the "Oscar" award figurines are Britannia metal with gold plating. We do not have the stand for the teapot.
