This spectacularly upholstered antique Victorian solid hand carved Mahogany chaise longue is in incredible condition for its age and still has the original white bakelite castors on the hand carved mahogany cabriole legs. The upholstery has been done in two quality fabrics with the deep button-back section in a monochrome tan colour fabric and the seat in a beautiful stripe fabric. The chaise longue measures a stunning 165cm long x 79cm wide x 87cm high to the top of the backrest. The styling of this chaise has all the tell-tale signs of the incredible furniture that was crafted in the Victorian era - ageless and beautiful pieces that are still very sought after today. Furniture such as this chaise are exceptionally rare and very difficult to find, especially in this condition. There is absolute minimal/ normal wear and the upholstery is amazing - no need to re-upholster!!!
