This incredible antique (c1926) hand carved oak enamel-face Barometer and thermometer wall weather station measures a very decent 89.5cm high x 29cm wide. The weather station has an engraved silver plaque just under the barometer which reads: "With best wishes from the members of the Old Boltonians A.F.C. to A.I. Hindley on the occasion of his marriage, 21st August 1926". The Old Boltonians A.F.C is a British football club for ex-Bolton School boys, their family and friends. The weather station is in beautiful working condition and we have checked the barometer over the last couple of days and confirm it has been accurate. The hand carved detailing completely finishes this stunning weather station.
