This truly exquisite original signed Carlos (Carlo) Sdoya (1914 to 1996) oil painting is in beautiful condition and a superb example of his work. Born in Rome, Italy, his paintings brought in beautiful broad brush strokes and vibrant colours often found in mid-century European art. His combination of brush and palette knife application is the foundation of this beautiful still life painting. The painting is framed in a stunning gold frame with clean lines which compliments the painting to a "T". The framed painting is 67cm wide x 77cm high and 51.5cm wide x 61.5 high (ex-frame). There are a few scuffs on the frame. This investment art would be a superb addition to any South African art portfolio. Please view the pics very carefully to fully appreciate this amazing original painting and to confirm the condition.
