This incredible original signed R. Gerson oil on canvas painting in an ornate antique gilded frame and measures 74.5cm wide x 63.5cm high and 62cm wide x 52cm (ex-frame). The painting depicts a Swiss Alpine cottage. R Gerson was a visual painter and although not much is recorded about the artist, his work commands high prices, often selling for $1000's. The painting is in good condition as is the ornate moulded frame. There are minor scuffs on the frame, but nothing a little TLC can't sort out. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this magnificent vintage oil painting and to confirm the condition. The frame alone is worth a fortune.
