This incredible hallmarked sterling silver salt and pepper set is good antique condition with some wear as shown in the pics. Considering the age one expects wear. The items are hallmarked with the letters HM confirming it was made by Henry Matthews (1894-1930). The Anchor Assay confirming it was made in Birmingham, the Lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver and the date letter "x" confirming it was made in 1897. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this wonderful antique salt and pepper set and to confirm the condition.
