This ultra-rare vintage (c1970's) original German Solingen "Carl Schlieper" Safarica Hunter Machete is a truly amazing find, especially in this condition. The incredible blade is stamped with the makers mark as well as the 1970's Solingen symbol. The blade also has the original Safarica Hunter engraving which was later changed to "Safari Hunter" for the English and American markets. The machete measures an incredible 47cm long with a blade length of 33.5cm. These are very rare machetes and very few people have one in their collection, especially the original German inscribed machete. If you are a collector, then you would appreciate this amazing German Solingen machete by Carl Schlieper.
