Product Description

An original WWII US made Legitimus Collins & Co Machete No 1250 dated 1940 with Canadian issued 1942 dated brown leather scabbard made by Rocco Ltd. As used by British and allied troops. Sometimes referred to as a "Bush Knife. No 1250' s were also issued to the Canadian Army during WWII. As it rapidly expanded, particularly its morotized units, this caused a great need for "matchets" or "bush knifes" one of which was to be carried on each tank and vehicle in planned offensive actions in Europe and elsewhere.
