This stunning top-quality antique Edwardian (c1910) Mahogany circular rotating bookcase is an amazing find! The bookcase features a solid Mahogany top and the bookcase is very well made, sturdy and heavy. There is solid brass gallery detailing as well as brass caps on the feet. The amazing marquetry inlay detailing on the sides of the bookcase completes this wonderful antique piece. The bookcase measures 81cm across the top and 107cm high. The bookcase has four shelves (one on each side) and has loads of space for a book collection. The bookcase is in very good condition for its age with little/ normal wear and tear; there has been a professional mend on the one foot - see pics. This is a very unusual piece that would be perfect for a study or living room that needs something special - it would be stunning next to an old desk with a Persian carpet.
