This ultra-rare antique Chinese Elm and oriental Teak wood combination "Huanghuali" four-section desk with four drawers is an incredible find and a stunning example of the incredible classic Qing Dynasty furniture (circa 1850 to 1870). The desk is completely designed without a single nail or screw and has a series of mortise and tenon joins that secure the table together (floating panels). The two pedestals each have two drawers and beautiful traditional Chinese carved lattice detailing. The exquisite two-tone colour of the darker teak and lighter Elm woods makes it a particularly attractive desk. The desk measures 120cm long x 65cm wide x 85.5cm high. The chair is not included. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this rare antique Chinese Huanghuali desk and to confirm the condition.
