Active 3D Shutter Glasses General
Active 3d Glasses are rechargeable and uses either Bluetooth or RF Technology to communicate to your Projector / HDTV or display supporting 3D Rendering. Please choose the correct glasses supported by your system from the drop-down list.
Radio Frequency RF Active 3D Shutter GlassesThe advantage of this technology is that it does not require a line of sight between the emitter and the glasses. With emitters of different power levels available and their 360 coverage, the place of installation can be chosen quite freely. The viewers just need to be within the radius of the emitter.
Another advantage is that the RF signal is pretty resistant. Alternative visible light sources or IR do not affect it. So it can work along with IR cameras or other light flashes operating other parts of an installation. Even other RF systems generally provide individual channels that allow parallel operations.
This system is very well suited for virtual reality (VR) applications. Indeed VR systems usually integrate an IR camera system for position tracking. So with RF technology, this tracking and 3D visualization do not interfere and highly complicated inter-application synchronization are a thing of the past.
Anaglyph 3d Glasses
These glasses can be used for the 3D Feature of Cyberlink PowerDVD on any PC or Notebook to produce a 3D image from 2D movies by enabling 3D on the application or 3D side-by-side .avi movies. It also supports any 3D HDTV or Projector capable of rendering content for Anaglyph 3D Glasses.
For Gaming in 3D using these glasses for Nvidia GeForce Graphics cards the Nvidia 3D Vision driver needs to be configured. AMD does not currently support it via their drivers but 3rd party software such as iZ3D is available for download for rendering games in Anaglyph 3D mode on PC's with AMD graphics cards and graphics cards not supporting 3D Rendering.
These glasses feature Red / Cyan lenses which will provide different levels of 3D effects based on content rendered.
