This microprocessor (µP) supervisorycircuit has ultra low supply current of 125nA and monitors single system supplyvoltage. This device asserts an active-low reset signal whenever the VCC supplyvoltage drops below the factory trimmed reset threshold, manual reset is pulledlow or watchdog timer runs out. The reset output remains asserted for anadjustable reset timeout period after VCC rises above the reset threshold. TheMAX16056 has adjustable reset and watchdog timeout using external capacitors. Itcontains a watchdog timer with watchdog select input (WDS) that multiplieswatchdog timeout period by 128.
