Product OverviewThe MAX3044CSE+ is a ±10KV ESD protected, quad 5V RS485/RS422 transmitter in 16pin NSOIC package. It is designed for digital data transmission over twistedpair balanced lines. The transmitter output is protected to ±10KV using humanbody model. MAX3044CSE+ is slew rate limited transmitter that minimizes EMI andreduces reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, thus allowing errorfree transmission. This device with hot swap capability eliminates falsetransitions on the data cable during power-up or hot insertion. It offersoptimum performance when used with the MAX3093E or MAX3095 5V quad differentialline receivers or MAX3094E/MAX3096 3V quad differential line receivers.
