Product OverviewThe MAX3080ESD+ is a fail-safe, slew rate limited RS485/RS422 transceiver in 14pin NSOIC package. The fail-safe circuitry in this device features a logic highreceiver output when receiver inputs are open or shorted, it means that thereceiver output will be a logic high if all transmitters on a terminated bus aredisabled (high impedance). This device has reduced slew rate drivers thatminimize EMI and reduce reflections caused by improperly terminated cables andallowing error free data transmission up to 115Kbps.
