The shape is a distinct six-sided, hexagonal geometric structure. The bowl features Anchor Hocking's iconic Wexford pattern, highlighted by rows of sharp diamond points and a central multi-pointed starburst medallion. The rim and base are styled with a decorative, scalloped edge along the top rim and balanced by three small glass feet tucked underneath the base for stabilization. The bowl is crafted out of thick, heavy clear pressed glass popular during the 1970s.
Practical uses can include serving as it is perfectly proportioned as a bonbon, candy, nut, or relish dish or also frequently used on vanities as a vintage trinket tray or jewellery holder.
