This is a very sought after item as it depicts the Bringer Of Prosperity Chinese mythology- the WISEMAN, which was said to bring prosperity to those that wear it or have it located some where close to the enterance to their businesses. This piece dates to the latter part of the Qing Dynasty of Chinese history (1644-1912)
The jade is a very pale green, almost whiteish green.
