Ancient Rome: Faustina (The Younger) 147-149 AD Silver Denarius

Faustina was the daughter of Antoninus Pius (we also have one of his coins currently listed).

The obverse of the silver Denarius shows Faustina with her hair tied in a bun at back of her head while the reverse shows Venus (goddess of love, beauty, desire, and fertility) holding an apple and rudder with a dolphin entwined.

The pictures at the bottom were taken before the coin was certified and slabbed by Sangs.
