a Hand-portable scale capable of reading up to 50kg / 5000 grams, whatever exerts force down from the eye hook at the bellyside of the scale. There is a nylon webbing lanyard attached, which can attach one of two ways onto whatever is intended to be weighed.

i. One could hook the metal clip at the end onto a latch of the item to be weighed. The webbing strip will be at its longest this way and if its a tall item, you may have difficulty lifting it off of the surface.

ii. You can loop this strap through a handle, then hook the end clip onto the triangle that retains the opposite end of the webbing, creating a closed loop. The webbbing is at its shortest like this and we would normally recommend using this method, as the first mentioned method does not, for example, allow you to grab ahold of large handbag straps. Moreover, it cannot grab ahold of two straps simultaneously either. Lastly, the strap is materially softer than the 

The entire hull of this product is plastic and therefore, one should take care not to drop this unit, as it may readily be vulnerable to shock/impact damage. Though if you take care of- and look after this unit, it should last you for years to come, assuming you do use proper batteries.

This hand-portable unit weighs in 118 grams (W/out the batteries) and uses 3x AAA batteries (included) to work.
