INVESTMENT ART

This is one of an very interesting collection of limited edition artworks that I am offering for sale.

  In short the history is that in 1998/1999 an print exchange happened between Belgium and South Africa. 54 Print Makers between the two countries were chosen to each design a playing card, thus making up a pack.  Each artist printed 70 original editions, which were signed and numbered. Sets 1-5 went to the organization, 6-15 for sales to pay for the project and 15 - 70 went to each of the contributing artists. What I have here, is a broken set of 27 of the original prints that belonged to one of the contributing artists. Sadly he had given away and sold the rest of the set, so with the set compromised as such, I decided to offer these as individual artworks of some of the most accomplished local artists here and in Flanders.
