Beautiful and extremely collectable 1940's Angelus mechanical chronograph watch
The Angelus watch company was one of the top quality swiss watch producers in it's day, before the company had to close it's doors, due to the cheap quartz watch revolution of the 1970's.
The watch is in a great condition with it's original blued hands, original dial with beautifil patina, and steel case.
All complications on the watch is functioning perfect, and the watch is keeping great time, it can easily be used as a daily wearer.
The avid collectors will know that the chronograph movement in this watch, is one of the best quality chronograph movements ever produced by a watch company.
I don't know the history of this specific chronograph, but do know that many of these Angelus chronographs, with the stick out pushers, were manufactured for pilots during world war 2. (The pushers were normally square, but were made to stick out for pilots, for easier use with gloves)
Please check out my other auctions, i am selling a few watches from my collection. (selling price excludes shipping)
