Anglo-Boer War Commemorative Brooch (Boer Generals Delegation to Europe)

A rare brooch, featuring fine miniature portraits of the great Boer Generals, Botha, De la Rey and De Wet, most likely issued on occasion of that delegation's visit to Europe at the end of the Boer War to seek funding for reconstruction. This brooch would date from that time, ca. 1902.
