Anglo Boer War Period Field Glasses

On offer this rare find - a pair of Anglo Boer War Period Field Glasses that are leather bound and with brass, metal and a very hard rubber around the eye piece. The markings are unfortunately so worn that it is difficult to see exactly but the "CARL" of "CARL ZEISS" faintly visible. The right lens appears in focus but the left lens is so dirty that it is difficult to see if it is focussing or not. The hard rubber on the left eyepiece has had a repair. Measurements: 11cm long and 15.5cm wide.
