A fascinating series of views in the town and within the perimeter defences, taken during the siege, with some further scenes of the country surrounding Ladysmith and places of strategic importance on the Natal front.
Condition :
Both Front & Back cover are coming loose with two small tears on the front cover.
The staples are corroded and the middle page has pulled loose as a result.
The inside pages are very good with a few small a marks/foxing on some pages.
I have had the book for over 45 years and is in original condition with no tape or other repairs.
The cover does have a few marks and slight scuffing. There are no folds or creases.
