On offer this set of 2 original oils by renowned South African artist, Ann Inggs.  Both the paintings of flowers, pansies and sweetpeas, in wonderfully bright colours, lovely technique and nicely framed make for very sought after pieces.  Both measure 25x20cm (with frame) and 16x11.5cm (painting only).  Both in excellent condition with no damage to report. Signed in the lower left corner.

Ingss started drawing and painting at a very early age. She attended the Da Vinci Fine Art School under the late Carlo Sdoya, where she studied oils for 10 years, winning the Artist of the Year Competition in 1978. She has been much in demand for her Historical Works and her approach to detail. Ann is Founder Member of the West Rand Art Society. Has been a member of Artists Under the Sun for 27 years.  Her colours and style of work is unique, generating a warm and sunny character with a zest for life, this is reflected in her artwork. Using brush and palette knife she covers a wide variety of subjects and has become very versatile.

Inggs has had numerous exhibitions and commissions resulting in her successful art career. Her paintings are found throughout South Africa and around the world.
