Info: Anne Hathaway's Cottage is a twelve-roomed farmhouse where Anne Hathaway, the wife of William Shakespeare, lived as a child in the village of Shottery, Warwickshire, England, about 1.6 km west of Stratford-upon-Avon. Spacious, and with several bedrooms, it is now set in extensive gardens. Ken was born in Bolton in 1921 and studied fine art at Bolton Art College. With the outbreak of World War II, he found himself serving in the Royal Corps of Signals of the British Army. During this time he continued to paint as a way to supplement his army pay. In the mid 1970s, through the Bromley Art company, Ken produced sketches and watercolours depicting local views from around the country. It is from this period between 1975-1990 that most of the artworks featured in his gallery originate. Condition: Very Good, a well looked after frame and picture. Price: R 145.00 Inc Vat.
