Annie Young Oil on Canvas

On offer this Oil on Canvas painting of a seascape by artist "Annie Young" the artist having captured the scene beautifully. The artwork with contrasting colours and the paint applied quite thickly in places, making this is truly stunning piece of art. It is framed in a beautiful wide frame that looks like yellow wood to me, just the frame on it's own is worth a lot! The painting measures 69x59cm (with frame) and 54x44cm (painting only). As often happens with canvas, over the years crackling on the paint appears with the movement of the canvas - it has crackling but no paint has peeled off. There are however 2 scratches and a spot on the painting where the paint has come off - see the last 2 photos for a close up view of these. Still the above is not glaringly noticeable, the painting can most certainly hung as is, but will look magnificent restored to it's former glory.
