Anri Sala is the first monograph of its scale and scope on the young Albanian-born contemporary artist whose haunting videos, photographs and installations have been applauded by critics and curators the world over. Though Sala's work employs straight documentary practices, it also weaves its formal concerns (light and darkness, monochrome and color, sound and silence) into a poetic investigation of its medium.
