This clock has been on test for 48 hours and runs well. The striking did not go out of sequence. The pendulum looks correct but does not have its regulating nut and the clock has gained about 30 minutes a day as a result. Not too much of a problem to correct it. The movement is dirty and needs to be cleaned and oiled. Quite a testament to the robust nature of these clocks that this one still runs after I have had it stored in a box for more than ten years, and who knows how long it was before that it was last serviced. The varnish is dry but looks like it will come up nicely with a good polishing. There is a chip in the wood at the 4 o clock position. Overall a nice complete clock that is worthy of restoration. The pivots do not look worn. The minute hand is missing its washer and taper pin. There is a key.
