António Pinho Vargas As Folhas Novas Mudam De Cor Vinyl LP (IMPORT) Excellent Condition

Rateyourmusic Reviewer: Jazzy tunes, strong on melody, skimpy on the improv - jazz-chanson, if you will, but sans vocals, signed by a future modernist composer (starting with the fairly interesting Monodia, from 1994), but you never would have guessed it based on his jazz records. This is probably my favorite of those; possibly because it was my first, since they are all formally similar: charming and tasteful all the way through, for the most part painstakingly avoiding any semblance of dissonance - a move I do not tend to favor, but even I must admit, that is one fine moustache.

Media: Near Mint (NM or M-) LP is virtually M condition, no visible signs of use.

LP Grading Guide

Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way. Hardly ever, or  never been played, possibly even still sealed.
Near Mint (NM or M-): A nearly perfect record. A NM or M- record will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. The record shows no obvious signs of wear and has been well taken care of.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect the listening experience.
Very Good (VG): Light scratches are evident that might affect the sound, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise.

Cover Grading Guide

Mint (M): Perfect. No wear, marks, or any other imperfections.
Near Mint (NM or M-): The LP cover has no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner.
Very Good (VG): Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time.
