I am offering on this auction this Lovely Holy Bible, printed at the University Press, Oxford, London.

The Bible has an inscription dated 1867, and appears to have been printed at the request of Prince James for use in churches.

This Bible has the old and new testaments, with quite a few pictures and several maps.

This book measures 14.5 cm x 9 cm with a spine width of 4 cm. It weighs 360 grams.

The cover has brass edging with a brass clasp to keep it closed. The pages are gilt edged.

This book is in Good Condition considering its age. The cover has come undone from the spine and has been taped to prevent further damage. The binding has come undone after the second page (see photos). The rest of the pages seem to be firm.
Some of the outer covering is torn off the bottom of the spine.
Inside: The pages are in excellent condition. None are torn and apparently none are missing. The pages with pictures and illustrations on have very slight foxing on them. The pages with text appear to be clean.
