Antique 18ct Gold Diamond and Ruby Ring

 

The antique ring is made of 18ct yellow gold with some engraved decoration. It is set with a central round, old brilliant-cut diamond (approximately 3.0mm diameter circa 0.10ct; Colour M; clarity SI) surrounded by four small single-cut small diamonds (circa 0.02ct total). The diamonds are flanked by two round-cut rubies (approximately 2.0mm - circa 0.04ct each).  The ring is marked with a crown; the number "18" (for 18ct); the hallmark for Birmingham; and the date letter for 1913.
