Antique 18ct Gold, Platinum and Diamond Ring

 

The antique, 18ct yellow gold ring has a yellow gold shank and is platinum fronted. There are two somewhat oval eight-cut diamonds claw-set in the centre (approximately 4.15mm x 5.15mm circa 0.4ct each; colour I-J; clarity SI2). The ring has ribbon-shaped shoulders, each pave-set with four round eight-cut diamonds (circa 0.08ct total for the ring). The ring is marked "HG&S; 18CT; PT". The "HG&S" is an unidentified maker's mark.
