Antique 18ct Gold, Ruby and Diamond Ring

The antique ring is made of 18ct yellow gold. It is set with a central, oval-cut ruby (approximately 6.5mm x 5.0mm circa.1.0ct); flanked by a triangular shaped cluster of six round, old brilliant-cut, small diamonds (circa 0.03ct total).  The ring is marked with a crown; the number "18" (for 18ct); the hallmark for Chester; and the date letter for 1902.
