Fabulous 18th century Delft Jug by Moustiers, c.1800. Lovely bulbous shape on a pedestal base with domed foot, large strap handle with moulded mask and unusual spout with upturned points. A blue ground highly decorated with various sailing designs borders of flowers and panels. The sides have 2 different very finely painted romantic scenes of amorous couples sitting under trees by a harbour with sailing boats and houses with windmills. Lovely detail of clouds and flying birds in the sky.A cartouche surmounted with a crown. Marked to the base.

Great condition commensurate with age,looks like just the one slither on the spout.

A superb antique 18th-Century Dutch Delft jug.This lovely large vase has a hand painted design in cobalt blue and white. It's in excellent condition for its age with colors that are still amazingly vibrant and fresh.

Diameter 21 x 12.5 x 10.5cm.

Colour may differ from photos as my camera doesn't pick up some shades.Blue is lighter on jug.
