ANTIQUE 19 CENTURY INFANTRY SABRE BRIQUET WITH A BRASS HILT.  IT IS A BIT TARNISHED AND SHOWS EVIDENCE OF SOME SURFACE RUST, BUT THE SWORD IS STILL WELL-BALANCED.  THE BLADE IS SOMEWHAT PITTED AND A BIT LOOSE WHERE IT MEETS THE HILT.  I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN THE SWORD AS IT IS THE NEW OWNER'S PREROGATIVE TO RESTORE OR NOT TO RESTORE.  IT MEASURES 70 CM IN LENGTH, WITH THE HILT BEING 12 CM LONG AND 9 CM WIDE
