THE CLOTH WAS MEANT TO BE A WELCOME HOME TO A LOVED ONE RETURNING FROM WAR AFTER SERVICE IN THE NAVY, FOR REASONS WE WILL NEVER KNOW THE CLOTH WAS NEVER COMPLETED.......THE LACE FEATURES THE BRITISH AND SOUTH AFRICAN FLAGS, NAVEL VESSELS, AN ANCHOR ON EACH CORNER AND THE WORDS WELCOME HOME.....THE OVERALL CONDITION IS GOOD WITH A FEW MINOR MARKS THAT CAN BE SEEN IN THE LAST PICTURES......MEANT FOR A SQUARE CLOTH THE MEASUREMENTS ARE 77.5cm SQUARE AND 10cm WIDE. IN A GOOD CLEAN CONDITION.
