Antique brass Black-Powder measuring pot c1890 - Ref. 02JA
A very interesting, quality-made brass and wooden-handled black-powder pot with an adjustable measure in three units, 35, 40, 45 (grains??). I believe it is of French origin. The article measures 12cm in length and the pot has a diameter of 1.7cm with a length of 2.1cm. The extended length of the pot, when fully opened is 3.0cm. It remains in excellent condition with no damage to either the wooden handle nor the brass pot itself.
