
Offered for your consideration is this Very Rare Antique Circa 1904 Stereoscope Viewer.
This viewer is used to view Glass Stereo Slides.
This viewer is made of stout card with an inner extending body for focusing.
Included are 67 Glass Slides, which come in boxed sets as outlined below.
The slides are all in sound condition and exposure, and all measure 10.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
The sets are:
Fontainbleau I & II & III (12 slides in each set)
Trainons (12 slide set)
Les Bassins (12 slide set)
Interlaken (7 slides)
CONDITION wise this stereoscope is EXCELLENT; it is in original unrestored condition (see photos).
There is a small chip piece (which is included) off the corner of the rear opaque glass.
This thin glass can be replaced with little cost.
It is very seldom that you will come across a stereoscope viewer that shows glass slides in South Africa, so don’t miss out on this absolute rarity.
