A lovely and finely engraved sterling silver commemorative trowel, with ribbed bone handle. The piece is hallmarked for Birmingham England and dated 1882, although presented in 1887. In excellent overall condition - see photos for details.

The trowel was gifted in commemoration of laying the Memorial Stone for the Barberton Wesleyan Church in 1887. A lovely keepsake or fancy cake slice!

Dimensions: the trowel measures 22 cm in length and 6,25 cm in width.
