ANTIQUE 1914 ELI GRIFFITH & SONS BRASS KEROSENE LANTERN
Quality solid brass lantern made in England
 

This is an old beauty, very few of them around!
Just about a century old!
Lantern is unrestored and we have not cleaned or polished it.

A rare find in good condition for its age of almost a hundred years!
It has some minor dents that adds to its character and the top is slightly bent. This can be rectified, but I'd leave it just as it is!
The glass panels are replacements, of which one is cracked, but they are real easy to replace.
It does not have the original kerosene burner, so it can be converted to electric without much trouble.

 

The lantern measures 40cm tall excluding the handle.
The size of the base is 21cm x 13cm.
The rear has a strong brass bracket for hanging on a wall.
