Vintage Cast Brass Gadur Vessel with Lid - Intricate inlaywork with other metals - likely from the Phillipines

Traditionally used for storage and as part of wedding ceremonies.

Has a rounded base, thinner neck  and a domed lid with a spire-like finial.

Measurements: 51.5cm H x 32cm diameter 

One handle missing.

The dome lid inner rim and inner finial centre has some metal chips, as per photo. Not visible.

Some small indentations on the lid rim edge, as per photo. Not apparent.

The vessel rim edge has a piece missing, as per photo. Not apparent when lid is on.
