Antique Christening blanket

 This Antique Christening blanket, cotton not wool, is approximately 76 cm square, however, the one side is rounded and the part which presumably was tied around the Baby's back has two bows and ribbon for the ties. Considering that this item is believed to be 90 years old, it was used on the day of my late father in law's Christening and had been in the family prior to that, it is in very good condition. It was no doubt cream but has pale blue embroidery with very small flowers on each of the corners.
