COLUMBIA VIVA-TONAL GRAFONOLA GRAMOPHONE
In working condition - 1930's

This is a Viva-Tonal Grafonola portable gramophone, made in England by Columbia during the 1930's.
It is in a working condition. The winding mechanism, speed adjustment and brake works and it produces a fairly good sound. Keep in mind though that it may require a bit of a service to sound perfect.
Cosmetic condition is fairly good. It appears to be complete and there is no damage apart from everyday wear and tear. The outside of the case shows the most wear, especially on the edges and corners.
The pin that locks the lid stay in place when the lid is in the open position is missing.
We have not tried cleaning anything, so it could do with a good cleaning and polishing of the chrome parts.
The gramophone measures 40cm x 28cm x 17cm.
Please have a look at the images to verify age and condition. All questions welcome.
