Antique Earthenware Lampet Beker / Washstand Ewer – c.1900 – Hand-Painted Floral – 32cm

Antique ceramic lampet beker (washstand ewer), dating to around 18901915.

This type of vessel was traditionally used as part of a washstand set, together with a basin, before indoor plumbing became common.

The piece features:

• Hand-painted brown floral decoration
• Warm cream to honey-toned glaze with natural colour variation
• Decorative scroll handle and elongated spout
• Footed base

Unmarked apart from an impressed makers mark: a K within a circle with a small dot. Likely of European origin (German or Bohemian export ware).

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition.

• No cracks or repairs observed
• Minor age-related wear to the base rim
• Light crazing consistent with age
