A rare chance to own a genuine Edward Miller & Co. (Meriden, USA) hanging oil/parlor lamp, dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s.
This lamp is not converted to electricity it still has its original brass oil font, center-draft burner, embossed wick knob marked MILLER, a milk glass dome shade, and even its original pulley system.
The lamp is in mint condition with no corrosion, damage, or restoration required. The pulley and all fittings are also in excellent working order.
Edward Miller was one of the most respected lamp makers of the Victorian era, known for quality craftsmanship and ornate designs. Many surviving examples were later converted to electric, making untouched oil-burning lamps like this one highly collectible.
